Antes de Comenzar
- An active SalesSheet.ai account on any paid plan
- At least one deal or contact record in your account (charts need data to display)
- Analytics access enabled for your user role (check Settings > Roles & Permissions)
Open the Reports Dashboard
Navigate to Analytics > Reports from the left sidebar. The dashboard loads with your most recently saved layout. If this is your first visit, SalesSheet automatically applies a default preset based on your user role, so you will see relevant charts immediately.
Choose a Role-Based Preset
Click the Presets dropdown at the top of the dashboard to browse the 10 built-in presets. These include configurations tailored for Sales Reps, Sales Managers, Account Executives, SDRs, VP of Sales, Customer Success, Founders, Marketing Leads, RevOps, and Executive Summary. Selecting a preset instantly populates your dashboard with the most relevant charts for that role.
Each preset arranges a curated selection from the 13 available chart templates. You can use a preset as a starting point and then customize it by adding, removing, or rearranging individual charts.
Browse the Chart Template Library
Click + Add Chart to open the template library. The 13 templates are organized into three categories:
- Pipeline: Deal stage distribution, pipeline value over time, win/loss ratio, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy
- Activity: Calls made, emails sent, meetings booked, tasks completed, and activity trends by rep
- Revenue: Monthly recurring revenue, revenue by source, closed-won deals, and average deal size
Click any template to add it to your dashboard. The chart will appear at the bottom of your layout, ready for repositioning.
Select a Chart Type
Every chart supports 8 visualization types. Click the chart type icon in the top-right corner of any chart to switch between: Bar, Stacked Bar, Grouped Bar, Area, Line, Pie, Donut, and Number (a single large metric). The dashboard remembers your chart type preference for each template, so your choices persist across sessions.
The Number type is particularly useful for KPI cards. It displays a single headline metric with a trend indicator showing the percentage change compared to the previous period.
Create Charts with AI Klips
For custom visualizations, click the AI Klips button at the top of the dashboard. Type a natural-language prompt like "Show me closed deals by rep this quarter" or "Compare pipeline value month over month." The AI parses your request and generates a chart instantly, selecting the most appropriate chart type and data source.
AI Klips uses a natural language parser as its primary engine, with an AI fallback for more complex or ambiguous prompts. You can refine the result by editing the prompt or manually switching the chart type after generation. Learn more in our dedicated AI Klips guide.
Rearrange with Drag and Drop
Customize your dashboard layout by clicking and dragging any chart to a new position. Charts snap to a responsive grid, so your layout stays clean on any screen size. You can also resize charts by dragging the bottom-right corner handle to make important visualizations larger or less critical ones more compact.
Your layout is saved automatically. Each team member maintains their own dashboard configuration, so rearranging your charts will not affect anyone else's view.
Consejo Pro
Pin your most important chart to the top of the dashboard by clicking the pin icon in the chart header. Pinned charts stay anchored at the top even when you scroll, making it easy to keep a key metric visible while reviewing other data below.
Solución de Problemas
My charts show "No data available." Why is the dashboard empty?
Charts require data to render. If you have recently created your account, you may not have enough deals or activity records yet. Add at least one deal with a stage and value to populate pipeline charts. Activity charts require logged calls, emails, or tasks. Also verify that the date range filter at the top of the dashboard is set to a period that contains data.
The AI Klips chart does not match what I asked for. How can I fix it?
Try rephrasing your prompt with more specific terms. For example, instead of "show revenue" try "show monthly closed-won revenue for Q1 2026 as a bar chart." You can also manually change the chart type or data range after the chart is generated. If the AI consistently misinterprets a prompt, check the AI Klips guide for supported prompt patterns.
My dashboard layout reset after I switched presets. Can I undo this?
Switching to a new preset replaces your current layout. Before switching, click Save Layout to store your current arrangement as a custom preset. You can then switch between your saved layouts and built-in presets without losing your work. If you already switched, use the browser back button or press Ctrl+Z immediately to undo.
